How I checked these answers

I read the itch.io page, the download list, Devlog #1, and the Discord invite counts on 23 October 2026, and I launched the browser build far enough to see the title version and the menu. Where a player comment is the only source, the answer says so. This is not legal advice.

Questions

Is Pokemon Battle Advanced free?

Yes. The itch page is name-your-own-price, and you can take the download without paying. Suggested support is 1, 2, 5, or 10 euros.

Is it an official Pokémon game?

No. The Daigan made it. Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company, and Spike Chunsoft do not publish it.

Is the download safe?

Get the files from the itch.io page. This site does not host the game or the APK. Other APK sites are not connected to the developer and may change the file.

Where are the saves?

The browser build stores progress in site data for itch.io. Clearing that data resets the demo. An iPhone player said a refresh returned them to New Game. The desktop folder is not documented.

Is there multiplayer?

Not in the public build I opened. The page has a server-based multiplayer tag, the devlog lists online battles as future work, and the menu has no multiplayer item.

Why is Android an APK?

The Android file is an 81 MB APK on itch.io, not a Play Store listing. You sideload it. Some players reported install trouble.

Will it open at school?

That depends on the network. The browser build is served from itch.io and a filter may block it. This site does not offer a proxy or a mirror.

Can a project like this be taken down?

The developer says this is an unofficial fan project and does not promise permanent availability. This site cannot guarantee that third-party distribution will continue; it does not host a backup of the game.

Will this demo stay online?

Nobody has promised that. The playable build is on itch.io. This site only documents it and does not keep a copy of the files.

Why do the files say Battle Arena?

The zips still use the label Pokemon Battle Arena. The store title is Pokemon Battle Advanced. The developer has not explained the difference.

Did AI make it?

The itch page discloses “AI Assisted, Code.” It does not say art, music, or writing used AI.

Why are people talking about it?

The official trailer pages showed over 108,000 and 61,000 views respectively when checked on 23 October 2026, and Discord showed 326 members on 23 October 2026. Those numbers will move.
