The tag is not a mode you can join
We could not confirm a joinable multiplayer mode in the public build checked on 23 October 2026. itch.io carries a “server-based networked multiplayer” tag. Devlog #1, on 17 October 2026, puts “more of the online-battle work” on the future list. The main menu I saw is New Game, Options, and Credits. Commenters have asked for local and online co-op, including four players. I did not find a developer reply that says a server is already open.
Do not expect a working online match today. There is no server-status page, no cross-play chart, and no co-op tutorial on the store page.
Where people are actually talking
The Discord invite 3Gu2hxHxJ resolved, on 23 October 2026, to Daigan Games with 326 members and 33 online, in a general-chat channel. The invite’s expiry on that API response was 17 November 2026, so the link can die. Patreon at patreon.com/c/DaiganGames is where the devlog says supporters receive Wednesday builds. I could not see whether any of those builds include a private online test. I am not going to describe a mode I could not click.
If you came here for a co-op guide, the honest page is this one: wait for the developer, and use the walkthrough if you want the single-player demo that does exist. Local two-fighter play inside a wild battle is a single-player tag feature, not a second human. That system is on the wiki page.
