What this site actually loads
Privacy policy

Who is responsible
The publisher of pokemonbattleadvanced.com is the editor you can email at [email protected]. This policy describes this website. It does not describe itch.io, YouTube, Discord, or Patreon, which have their own policies when you open them.
I checked the scripts on 23 October 2026. Fonts (Nunito and Pixelify Sans) are files on this host, not a request to a font CDN. There is no account system, no newsletter, and no sign-up form on this site.
Default loading and your choice
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads load by default on the first view, without waiting for a click. The cookie banner is a notice with Accept and Reject buttons, not a gate. Reject turns analytics recording and advertising signals off, removes the Adsterra units on that page, and stores your choice for 180 days. Accept keeps them on. “Cookie settings” in the footer opens the banner again at any time.
Global Privacy Control is treated as Reject before the analytics, recording or ad loader can request a vendor script. This website uses a default-on, opt-out model: no stored choice is not an affirmative consent action. Accept or Reject records an explicit choice for 180 days. Reject disables GA4 collection, Clarity recording and Adsterra loading, then reloads the page so already-running third-party code cannot continue. It does not undo requests already made. This technical notice is not a claim that default-on loading satisfies every regional opt-in requirement.
Storage on this device
The first-party keys below are the only values this site intentionally writes to localStorage. Third-party cookie and identifier names, retention and purpose vary by browser, request and vendor configuration; this page does not promise a fixed cookie inventory or expiry for those services. See the linked provider policies for current disclosures.
| Key | Where | Purpose | Retention | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pba_consent | localStorage | Records Accept or Reject with a timestamp; no choice is written merely for viewing the banner | 180 days, then treated as missing and the default-on path runs again | Preference storage |
| pba_adbar_closed | localStorage | Remembers that you closed the fixed Adsterra Social Bar so it does not return on reload | 180 days, then the bar may appear again | Your choice |
Google Analytics 4
Observed first-view hosts: www.googletagmanager.com serves the Google tag and www.google-analytics.com receives measurement requests. Microsoft uses www.clarity.ms for its project tag, scripts.clarity.ms for its runtime and regional *.clarity.ms collection hosts. Adsterra uses bicea.org for both configured units. These three vendors load by default; Reject disables all three on the next document and remembers the choice for 180 days.
This site loads Google Analytics 4 through gtag.js from googletagmanager.com with measurement ID G-H4C730SN7G. The tag records the page URL, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, language, and interactions such as scrolls and outbound clicks. Google receives this data as a processor; IP addresses are not logged by GA4. Reports are aggregate and I use them to see which guides are read.
GA4 may use cookies or similar identifiers under Google’s current configuration. This site does not promise a fixed cookie lifetime or enable Google signals. Collection is on by default until Reject or Global Privacy Control. You can refuse or withdraw with Reject, block the tag with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or manage Google ads personalization at https://adssettings.google.com. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity
This site loads Microsoft Clarity project z236r3oesk. Clarity records sessions and builds heatmaps: pages viewed, clicks, scroll depth, taps, and rough session timing. Clarity provides masking controls for sensitive content; masking is not a guarantee that every unexpected input will be excluded. This site has no sign-up or other data-entry form. Microsoft receives the recording and aggregate metrics as a processor. Vendor retention varies by data type and project settings; consult the linked Clarity documentation for the current schedule rather than treating this page as a guaranteed deletion date.
Clarity may use cookies or similar identifiers according to Microsoft’s current service configuration. Loading is on by default until Reject or Global Privacy Control. Reject calls Clarity’s consent API, disables the loader and reloads the document on that page; no Clarity script is created on later denied visits. Microsoft’s privacy statement is at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement and Clarity’s data handling is described at https://learn.microsoft.com/clarity/setup-and-installation/privacy-disclosure.
Adsterra advertising
This site shows two Adsterra placements: NativeBanner_1 (unit 31877826) inside the page and SocialBar_1 (unit 31877827) as a fixed bar at the bottom. Adsterra publisher id 3403020, website id 6143880. The ad scripts are served from bicea.org and are created by this site’s loader after the page has rendered; the initial HTML only carries the URL as a string. Adult ads are switched off for this website.
Adsterra and creative hosts may receive network and device information, including IP address, user agent and page URL, and may set cookies or similar identifiers according to the creative. They use these signals to select and measure ads. Loading is on by default until Reject or Global Privacy Control. I do not sell personal information and I do not receive your name or email from Adsterra.
You can turn personalized advertising off at https://adssettings.google.com, https://optout.aboutads.info, https://www.youronlinechoices.com (EU/UK), or https://optout.networkadvertising.org (US). Reject on this site stops the Adsterra scripts here; it does not delete cookies another site already set. Adsterra’s own policy is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/.
Video, the browser demo, and outbound links
Trailer and song pages show a local image first. When you press Play video, the page creates a YouTube iframe on youtube-nocookie.com. The player can then contact YouTube, googlevideo.com, ytimg.com and Google video/advertising infrastructure. The player is requested by your action, separately from the analytics and advertising preference. Google’s privacy policy is linked above.
This website does not embed the game. Play links open the developer’s itch.io page, whose player, storage and privacy policy are controlled by itch.io. Outbound links to itch.io, Discord and Patreon are ordinary links: this site does not request those hosts merely to display a link.
The Adsterra Social Bar is constrained to max-width: 100vw with box-sizing: border-box and overflow: hidden, and the page body reserves space at the bottom while it is shown. Its Close ad button writes pba_adbar_closed, so it stays closed for 180 days instead of returning on the next reload.
Your rights, retention, and changes
Depending on where you live, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal data I hold, and you can object to or restrict certain uses. Email [email protected]. I do not run accounts, so the data I can actually hold is whatever you put in the email plus the consent flag that stays in your own browser. Vendor-side data is held under the vendor’s retention schedule and you can exercise rights against the vendor as well.
I do not sell personal information. This site is not directed at children under 13 and has no sign-up form. If this policy changes, I will update the date on this page and the site-wide checked date.
